The Adamawa State Government, under the leadership of His Excellency Gov Fintiri, has begun inspection visits to ongoing projects in Madagali Local Government Area to assess progress, quality, and compliance with approved specifications.
The inspection exercise, carried out through the Ministry for Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, Reintegration and Humanitarian Services (MRRR), is part of the state government’s efforts to ensure effective delivery of reconstruction, humanitarian, and security-related interventions in communities recovering from conflict.

Housing and Resettlement Projects
The team inspected five pilot durable solution shelter housing units in Shuwa, aimed at providing safe and sustainable accommodation for displaced and vulnerable residents, while supporting long-term resettlement and community recovery.
Security Infrastructure and Personnel Welfare
In Madagali Town, projects inspected include the construction of a Police Dormitory and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Office, as well as junior staff quarters and a medium aquifer borehole at the NSCDC facility. These projects are intended to improve operational efficiency and welfare of security personnel deployed to the area.
The inspection also covered water supply projects, including medium aquifer boreholes at Wagga Mangoro in Wagga Town, Madagali Town, and Sukur Town, to enhance access to potable water for residents.
Projects in Gulak
In Gulak, the inspection team assessed the construction of the NSCDC Office, senior and junior staff quarters, a medium aquifer borehole at the NSCDC Office, and the construction of a perimeter fence and gatehouse to strengthen security and protect public facilities.
Ensuring Quality and Value
The project inspection visits reaffirm Gov Fintiri’s commitment to transparency, quality assurance, and value for public funds, as the Adamawa State Government continues to prioritize security, infrastructure development, and humanitarian support across the state.
